Meet Travis: Guiding You Through Life's Financial Journey

At the heart of everything we do is a simple philosophy: planning for retirement isn't just about numbers—it's about people, families, and dreams. Travis embodies this belief fully.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, Travis brings deep financial expertise and personal attention to every conversation. Since joining our team in 2017, he's helped countless clients through all phases of retirement—from building wealth to thoughtfully distributing it—making each step feel less daunting and more empowering.

Travis doesn't just offer guidance—he walks beside you, year after year, adapting plans to life's twists and turns. He's here not just for the spreadsheets, but for the long-haul relationships that make financial planning truly meaningful.

A proud graduate of the University of Nevada and former professional baseball player with the Tampa Bay Rays, Travis blends strategy with heart. He lives in Sloughhouse, California, with his wife Chelsea and their children Emmy Lou and Hank. Outside the office you'll find him playing drums with The Cripple Creek Band or enjoying the outdoors with family and friends.

Travis Simas and Mike Tonis are business partners who share a deep commitment to helping clients get to—and confidently through—retirement. As a team, they prioritize long-term relationships and strive to make the planning process as approachable and reassuring as possible.

What do I enjoy most about being a financial planner?

What I enjoy most about being a financial planner is having true impact on my clients’ lives. Long-lasting professional relationships are important to me, and I love it when I see the “aha” moments with clients after going through our planning process with them and continuing to monitor their plan each year.
